My entry into the blogosphere

I’m loving this blogging thing.

It’s a good outlet for my writing impulse. I find here a good place for my own personal soapbox and an outlet for sharing my thoughts and life experiences. Ever since I was a boy, I’ve wanted to share the beautiful things in my soul with the world. I love talking with people. One of my favorite things to do is to sit down with a cup of coffee and a group of people and just talk.

I like finding out what people think and believe and why. I like sharing my own thoughts and beliefs with others. I guess it’s a relational thing I do with people. I simply love a good conversation.

A good image of my social interests would be I imagine myself sitting on a porch and sharing things with the people who’re interested in what I have to say and they share with me what they have to say. God willing; others can help me and make me think. Hopefully, all the while doing some good and sharing wisdom that might help those I’m talking with. Talking with is a good phrase. I don’t like lecturing at people.

Lol. A front porch philosopher.

Hmm.

What if I can do that as a blogger?

My main hope as a blogger is that I can share good and beautiful things from my soul with the world, have good conversations with my fellow bloggers and do some good in the world while I’m at it. I hope to not be hated on while doing it.

The doing some good thing…..

Ever since I was a boy, that’s all I ever wanted was to do good. Help people when they’re sad, hurt or bullied. So people can be happy and be free to be who they are, as long as they’re not doing evil; without coercion and oppression. Like Superman, Captain America or the U.S. Army Green Berets. I’ll develop that line of thought in a future post.
